MEL POTESHMAN, CPA, CFE
Mel is a past member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants where he served on its Tax Committee. He spent 10 years as a board member and served on the Executive Committee of AGN International, a worldwide association of CPA firms. He is the Treasurer and on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Venture Association (LAVA). He also serves on the board of the National Jewish Center for Immunology and Respiratory Medicine and on the board of Governors of the Arthritis Foundation, Southern California Chapter. He is a past board member of the Los Angeles Business Council, the Wilshire Chamber of Commerce and the Century City Chamber of Commerce. Mel
currently serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Accounting Today, a national publication for the accounting
profession. He has also served on the advisory boards of other publications in
the areas of Sales, Marketing and Public Relations. Mel has written on the
subject of management and communication styles within organizations, and has
published numerous newspaper and magazine articles on a wide range of subjects. Mel
received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major
in Accounting from Woodbury University. During his college years, he worked part-time for LCS & Co., while
attaining the Dean's List. Additionally, Mel received a certificate of
completion from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business for their Executive
Education Program. He also served his country in The United States
